I have been on this journey for 30 plus years. I have continued to evolve in my thinking and understanding of the text. After the completion of seminary (The Great ITC/ Morehouse School of Religion)
I served as a Navy Chaplain with the opportunity to serve and facilitate to all faith groups regardless of race and creed. It was an honor and a privilege to begin to understand the backgrounds of others while learning how we connect throughout humanity.
For too long we have gone without asking the right questions about religion (just believing). I’m hoping with the Chaplain’s Podcast it will
engage some higher level thinking and learning with different clergy, professional academicians and historians that would raise the level of thinking in our communities.
With that being said I would hope raise the level of responsibility we have to each other within our communities, Revelations 12:9 and the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.
Although religion should provide an understanding of God and the spirit world, it is too often only yet another source of confusion and disagreement. For example, Christianity is the professed religion of approximately a third of the world’s population and is the largest single religion.
But it is splintered into thousands of sects and denominations, many of them claiming to represent the true teachings of Christ.
The intent of the Chaplains Podcast is not to make anyone believe in any particular way but to give proper information and perspective where one is able to think for themselves and find their greater self.
Kyrie Irving gives us a great spinoff in his sharing with his fan base, family and friends his thoughts on a book “ Hebrews To Negroes WAKE UP BLACK AMERICA!” BY RONALD DALTON JR. This book brings into question many misrepresentations and miseducation of a people
and a society.
The Chaplains Podcast is intended to challenge religious thought and doctrines that has for so long misleads the masses of people. It keeps
them bound to the past and not being able to properly embrace the present and future. Preachers have remained “Master” storytellers
while not dealing with issues of Myth vs fact and prophecy vs historical data.
There’s a need to understand signs and symbols and what they mean in interpretations. The chaplain’s podcast will bring to you some
of the best and brightest of minds of our Theologians, Historians and Academia’s.
We must begin to ask the pertinent questions that are clearly answers too. So often we were taught in our up bring not to ask question just believe what we have been told. The time is out for that type of thinking the knowledge is here and the truth shall make you free.
